All In Louisville: Open House

Cultural Services Strategic Plan

We’re excited to invite you to help shape All In Louisville: A community‑powered vision for culture, learning, and belonging.

Cultural Services is all in—both in celebrating the incredible depth of cultural, learning, and creative resources that make Louisville unique, and in demonstrating our unwavering commitment to connection, inclusion, and lifelong learning. We believe that a vibrant community is built when everyone feels a sense of belonging and has opportunities to learn, create, and share their story.

As we shape this next chapter, your voice is essential. You know the heart of this community—its strengths, its hopes, and its possibilities. By sharing your perspectives, you help us understand what matters most and how we can design programs, spaces, and experiences that truly reflect the people we serve.

Our department includes three vibrant divisions that serve Louisville in unique and meaningful ways:

• Library – A welcoming hub for curiosity, creativity, and connection, offering spaces, programs, and collections for all ages.
• Historical Museum – Preserving and sharing Louisville’s stories through exhibits, education, and community‑driven storytelling.
• Arts & Events – Infusing creativity and celebration into community life through public art and signature City‑led events like the Labor Day Parade, Summer Concerts in the Park, the Senior Dinner, and more.
