Getting a Library Card

To access the Library’s full collection, place holds, and pick up materials, you will need a Louisville Public Library card. Visit our Circulation Desk with a photo ID and proof of address* to get a library card.

If you are unable to come into the library, you can request a card by contacting us at 303-335-4819.

*You do not need to be a resident of Louisville to get a Louisville Public Library card.
