COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

  1. Boulder County Volunteer Visitor Program
    • Visit an older adult for up to 2 hours per week. Help ease isolation, provide a break for a caregiver, and make a new friend. Volunteers serve as companions; they do not provide hand-on care.
    • Minimum 6-month commitment

  2. Intercambio Uniting Communities
    • Seeking compassionate volunteers to help English learners build language skills, confidence, and cross-cultural connections, in person or online.
    • No teaching experience or second language is required. We’re looking for people who have patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
    • 3-4 hours per week (including preparation); at least 6-month commitment

  3. Thorne Nature Experience
  4. Coal Creek Meals on Wheels
    • We prepare meals Monday through Friday. Both regular and substitute volunteers are highly valued and critical to our mission.
    • Positions include: Delivery Drivers, Kitchen Helpers, Baggers & Bagger Assistants, Café Helpers, Ambassadors & Administrative Assistants

  5. Cultivate
    • Wide variety of volunteer opportunities that offer flexible hours. Programs include Carry-Out Caravan, VetsGo, PhoneBuddies, Fix-It, YardBusters, SnowBusters. Volunteer opportunities are currently available in Broomfield, Boulder, and Weld Counties.
