DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>What was it like to be a child in Louisville in the past? How did children help their families?</strong></p><p>This family friendly program is for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers to attend together. <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/preschool-program-at-the-historical-museum-outdoor-chores-tickets-1298008952719?utm-campaign=social&amp;utm-content=attendeeshare&amp;utm-medium=discovery&amp;utm-term=listing&amp;utm-source=cp&amp;aff=ebdsshcopyurl" target="_blank">Registration is required.</a> Please&nbsp;<em>ONLY</em>&nbsp;register the children participating. Babies and caregivers do not need to register!</p><p>This preschool program utilizes&nbsp;the power of nature play&nbsp;to learn about outdoor chores in Louisville. Families will learn about the work that went into washing laundry on a washboard and practice washing and hanging laundry outdoors on a line. Make an adorable clothespin craft to take home and leave with a whole new appreciate for modern washing machines!</p><p>This program series combines structured play, unstructured nature play, story-time, and hands-on-crafts to learn about outdoor history in Louisville! Classes will run through August, attend one or many!</p>
